    • 1 – 2.64 oz. packet McCormick® Sausage Flavored Country Gravy Packet
    • 2 C Water, cold
    • 2-3 Tbsp CHA! by Texas Pete®
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • 1 can/8 biscuits Pillsbury® Biscuits(or other ready to bake)

    YIELD: 4 servings
PORTION (Serving Size): 2 biscuits with CHA! sausage gravy

    1. Preheat the oven using the desired cooking temperature found in the instructions of the biscuit you are using.
    2. Place the biscuits in the oven and begin making the sausage gravy.
    3. Place a medium-sized saucepot on high heat.  Add the olive oil.  Once heated, add the sweet Italian sausage to the pan and fry the sausage until is if fully cooked, stirring often to crumble the sausage into small bite size pieces.  When the sausage is fully cooked, drain and discard the fat from the pan and place the sausage crumbles back into the pan.
    4. Mix the McCormick® Sausage Flavored Country Gravy with the 2 cups of cold water and then add the mixture to the cooked sausage.  Bring to a simmer and cook until thickened, about 2-3 minutes.
    5. Add the CHA! By Texas Pete® to the sausage gravy along with a pinch of salt and pepper.
    6. Place two biscuits on a plate and pour a quarter of the sausage and gravy mixture over the biscuits.
