    Korean Aussie Short Ribs


    Galbi Marinade

    • 1 cup soy sauce
    • ¾ cup cane sugar
    • ¼ cup honey
    • ½ cup sprite
    • ¼ cup sesame oil
    • 2 Tbsp. mirin
    • 2 Tbsp. Texas Pete® Sautéed Garlic Flavor Hot Sauce
    • 3 each minced green onions
    • ½ tsp. black pepper
    • 2 Tbsp. white sesame seeds


    1. Combine all the marinade ingredients.
    2. Slice the short ribs very thin and marinate the meat in the galbi for at least one hour before grilling.


    Assembly for 10 short ribs lettuce cups

    10 slice grilled short rib

    10 lettuce cups

    3 Tbsp. + ½ tsp. pickled red onions

    2½ cups sunflower sprouts

    3 Tbsp. + ½ tsp. queso fresco


    Fill each lettuce cup with sunflower sprouts, a slice of charred grilled short rib, and pickled onions, and sprinkle to finish with queso fresco.
